Fellowship - Opportunities to Spend Time with Your St. Peter's Church Family
Cursillo The Cursillo movement, prepares laity to be truly evangelistic in their work situatons, their family and social lives, in leisure activities or within the institutional church. The movement guides Christians to a deeper relationship with God and helps them understand their individual callings to be Christian leaders. Dedication to continued prayer, study and apostolic action are taught so these leaders can more effectively do the work of evangelism. Weekends are held at Camp Allen. Ultreya meetings and reunion groups allow Cursillistas to further explore their calling and keep in contact with one another.
Fellowship Organizations
Daughters of the King The Daughters of the King are women of courage who have made a commitment to Server God, our King. We wear our crosses as an outward and visible sign that we cannot live a day without Christ in our lives. We see our Order as a community of nurturing women accepting all people, bridging differences and cherishing traditions. Moving into the 2st century empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision is to encourage and enable all to be reflections of God's love, reaching out through prayer, service and evangelism to spread His kingdom. At Peter's we are a religious Order of laywomen who have made a commitment to serve God our King. Lift high the Cross! The Order meets on the second Sunday of each month at 10:30am in the Chapel. The Order has a national web site at http://www.dok-national.org.
